XY Multi-dimensional Chaos

Directly inspired by the KAOSS pads of a couple decades ago, this plugin gives you advanced control of effects in a unique XY space.

The simple interface can be configured to manipulate multiple effects across an XY plane in startling and amazing ways. You can add up to 8 dimensions of control for as many as 4 effects.

Effects and Hosting

In addition to the 20+ onboard effects, this plugin acts as a host for your other VST/AU plugins. This means you can add new dimensions of control to your existing plugin library, and embellish them with effects from ours. You could, for example, map your favorite tone shaper to the x-axis, while adding a little reverb from our plugin on the Y-axis. 

Extreme Control

Part of the mission of Disarray was to create a plugin that allowed for simultaneous control of many parameters in interesting ways.

So, in addition to controlling up to 8 parameters with every mouse move, you can trigger effects to enable/disable with mouse and midi interaction. The control points in the XY space can be set to radial or linear, and can be linked to any parameter on any effect. This high level of control allows for infinite creative combinations. Additionally, there is an automation loop recorder for creating a repeating XY sequence over 1, 2 or 4 measures.

Creating Advanced Automation

Stagecraft have taken great care to make all parameters write and read automation from the DAW in sensible ways. This makes the process of creating advanced automation on the fly a breeze. Need to create a filter build up in one shot? A slow rotating phase shift that builds to a drop? Crossfade several effects? Not only are all these actions made simple, but they can all be written to DAW automation immediately, making it very simple to create advanced and complicated automation tracks.
