The Burl Audio BAES4 is a cutting-edge analog-to-digital daughter card for the B80 Mothership. Featuring four channels of AES and EBU inputs, four channels of AES outputs, and the ability to recover and sync to the incoming AES stream, the BAES4 delivers unparalleled digital flexibility in a compact daughter card format.

AES3 is a standard for the exchange of digital audio signals, developed by the Audio Engineering Society and the European Broadcasting Union in 1985. Revised in 1992 and 2003, AES3 signals can carry two channels of PCM audio over multiple outputs, including balanced, unbalanced, and optical outputs.
