The PRS CE 24 was originally introduced back in 1988, as a means of delivering that traditional "snappy" bolt-on tone but from a PRS guitar. Following in its Custom 24 counterpart's footsteps with a double-cutaway design, dual humbuckers, 24 frets and a Mahogany body — this particular model features a limited edition Satin Nitro Finish and is fitted with the fabled PRS 5708 Pickups!

From the front, the CE 24 looks like any other Core line PRS. Bird inlays and durable PRS hardware is exactly what you would expect on a Custom 24. However, under the hood are a few changes that makes this a completely different tone machine. It utilises a Maple-topped Mahogany body, delivering warm tonal characteristics with lots of mid-range potency. This works perfectly in tandem with the bolt-on Maple neck, which adds brightness and clarity.

Part of what made the original PRS CE 24 guitars so popular was how easy they were to wield. These lean rock machines offer great playability without the frills. The 'Pattern Thin' profile is a tried-and-tested shape that allows your hand to flow with ease across the silky Rosewood fretboard. The highly-adjustable PRS tremolo also lets you set up the guitar exactly how you want!

The fully Hand wired 57/08s were inspired on the iconic 1957 humbuckers, which were recreated in 2008, giving the name "57 08". They offer a great tonal versatility and embody the classic 50s vintage tone, but with the aid modern hardware and better quality.
